The craftsmanship
Each of the fifty-four stones sits in its own four-prong seat, drilled through to the hoop's core so light enters the pavilion from behind — the difference between inside-out hoops that glitter and those that read grey. The hinged latch closes into the hoop body, keeping the profile seamless.

Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Chemically and optically, yes — the same carbon crystal, graded to the same 4C standards by the same laboratories. The report accompanying this piece states the origin plainly, as we do everywhere on this page.
Why set diamonds on the inside of the hoop?
A hoop is seen mostly in profile and from behind; inside-out setting lights the return curve that plain hoops leave dark.
Are they heavy?
